What are "Adventures"?Adventures are private, off-leash activities allowing your dog to explore, sniff, and play in a variety of secure environments, including wooded areas, the beach, open fields, or various urban settings.

Are the walking and training sessions group or individual?We offer both individual and group sessions, depending on you or your dog's needs and preferences. Group walks are great for socialization, while individual sessions provide more personalized attention for your pup.

How are the dogs supervised during the adventures?Myself and the trained professionals I mentor will always supervise your dog(s) during adventures to ensure their safety and provide guidance as they explore and engage in activities.

What measures do you take to ensure the safety of the dogs?Safety is our top priority. We perform thorough background checks on all of our certified walkers & trainers. All locations used for walking & adventures are pre-checked and secured. Additionally, all dogs are assessed to ensure compatibility in group settings.

Can I accompany my dog during his/her adventure?While our adventures are designed for dogs to interact with their professional handler, we occasionally offer special events where owners can join in on the fun!

What training methods does Sailor's Stride use?Our trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and make learning a fun and rewarding experience for your dog.

How long do walking, training, and adventure sessions last?Walking: 15, 30, or 60 minutes sessions. Training: can range from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the training program, Adventures: (Solo or group): 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours

What happens if the weather is bad?In case of bad weather, we may adjust walking routes or reschedule to ensure the safety and comfort of your dog. We will communicate any changes ahead of time via our website and direct communication.
